Vintage Hamilton men’s wristwatch, commonly identified by collectors as the Hamilton “Clyde”, produced circa 1939–1941. This classic Art Deco timepiece features a cushion-shaped 10K gold filled case, original Hamilton signed dial with Arabic numerals, railroad minute track, and sub-seconds at 6 o’clock.

The watch is powered by a genuine Hamilton caliber 987A manual-wind movement with 17 jewels, made in the USA. The 987A is a well-regarded Hamilton movement used in several higher-grade rectangular models of this era.

Case serial number 11289150 dates the watch to the late 1930s–early 1940s and matches the correct production period for the 987A movement.
